The Aeronautical Technology Research Center was established in May 2004. Aeronautics is a multidisciplinary and highly integrated field of research. The center's research work covers aircraft design, aerodynamics, structure & strength, navigation & control, as well as other disciplines. The research topics range from subsonic speed to hypersonic speed, from civil transporter to fighter, from micro-mini aircraft to jumbo aircraft. The center also covers the structure, material, strength, and aerodynamics related to aeroengines.
