The center was founded in 2016, mainly in Russia, involving Belarus, Ukraine and other former Soviet Union and Eastern European universities and research institutes in the field of aerospace academic research, technology development, industrial transformation and innovation cooperation. In February 2018, the center was identified by the Ministry of Science and technology of China as a national base for international Science & Technology cooperation (National Center for International Research).
The main partners include: Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Skolkovo Innovation Center, Belarussian State Technical University, Ukrainian National Technical University and other institutions. In the research and completion of a number of national-level international science and technology cooperation projects, the Center is promoting joint graduate training and other educational exchange projects.
Now mainly engaged in the research direction are :
1. Microwave remote sensing technology and its application ;
2. Electronic system of new concept and new system of aerospace ;
3. New aircraft and their power.
Projects under implementation are :
1. Wireless sensor network technology for automated
engine monitoring system (selected as the Sino-Russian government science and Technology Exchange project, Ministry of Science and technology to introduce high-end foreign special project,Tsinghua University independent scientific research International Science and Technology Cooperation Project);
2. Rapid non-cooperative human security inspection
technology (Selected as National Key R & D program)
